Ooh – La – La ! We’re in France !
Yes, we’re now in fantastic France but only just !
We’re visiting the famous village of Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Porte , 8 kms from the Spanish border in the Basque hinterland, in the foothills of The Pyrenees.

But first …. business before pleasure today.
Mark makes his grand appearance from Bruce modelling his favourite, famous, snazzy red trousers! .…NO shorts today !!
Donostia – San Sebastián part 2!!
It’s a pleasant 6 km ride through the green forest hills and into stunning San Sebastian, or Donostia in Basque.
The caravan park also provides a free bus shuttle going regularly down to the local bus where it’s a short trip into the town centre.

So Bev snaps these pictures of the large city of Bilboa below , from our high vantage point, as we descend back down the mountain.
It looks like high-density living down there for sure!
Aloha !!…..from Northwest Spain !
Are you ready to join us for a drive and exploration along far north coast of Spain ?…. Settle in , grab a cuppa or a glass of vino, and enjoy the ride with us!

Hola, bienvenido (welcome) back to our travel blog !!
Pretty Portugal !
As the sun sets on the camp swimming pool, we are next door at the camp restaurant devouring a delicious Portuguese steak with onions ! Anyone for a chip or two!? There’s a few left over for you!

Getting a Birds-Eye view aboard the Big Yellow Bus . .
