Shkoder was buzzing at night with lots of young Albanians (plus us) enjoying the atmosphere and listening to music in the streets.

We tour the old town of Shkoder and visit the Rozafa Castle where Mark adventures down into the spooky tunnels beneath. This is an old cimmunist factory still standing.

Our visit to the museum which commemorates the victims of the communist regime was daunting, but educating the new generation of past mistakes.

The Mesi Bridge is an 18th-century Ottoman stone bridge near Shkodër, Albania, spanning 108 meters with 13 asymmetrical arches over the Kir River.

A fabulous highlight of our tour has been the visit to one of Albania’s famous agri-tourism farms. Agritourism Albania.

The tour of the farm included a hilarious experience on the mini train pulled by the tractor.. . . .  the delicious farm to table meal – made only with local ingredients – was such a memorable cultural experience.
