After arriving at Heathrow, we take a coach/bus to Exeter where Bruce our motorhome eagerly await us. His motor sounds raring to go . . . . so off we head to our friends, Su and Pete’s house in the seaside town of Teignmouth in South Devon.
Bruce requires his annual MOT (roadworthy Certificate), service, new cam-belt and replacement starter battery (just in case),
Meanwhile, we enjoy visiting local attractions, including Agatha Christie’s holiday home, and some other National Trust properties. Delicious Cornish pasties enjoyed after lots of strolling through the gardens.
Everyone is excited about the king’s coronation here and our friends host a Coronation Party complete with delicious coronation cake too!!
We have a great catchup with our friend Nettie who drives us to her favourite little Seaside Café at Meadfoot near Torquay for lunch.
Lunch looks nice, great to see you back on the road !
Great to hear you’re back travelling in Bruce. We pitched up next to you in Dinard in 2019 for a few days. We too are off to Spain on 14th from Plymouth. Touring northern Spain maybe as far as Portugal. You never know our paths might cross. Happy travelling Mark and Debbie from Bristol
