Flying High!

As you read this, our final travel blog for 2018, we will be tucked up in an A380 flying high . . . . above who knows where . . . on our way home to family and friends !!!

Staying with Pinky and Mike in their Chiswick home – by the Thames River – has been wonderful again. Blessed with blue skies, we explored London on foot! passing Buckingham Palace, meandering through beautiful Hyde Park and then onto the West End where we were thoroughly entertained by Les Miserables (the longest running West End show).

Mike and Pinky’s excellent hospitality even included a spin to Windsor in Mike’s silver Porsche!!  Motor cruising down the Thames was a fun way to spend our Saturday afternoon.

More fine, sunny weather allowed us to enjoy the nearby Kew Gardens. Mark is up there somewhere on the treetop walk!

This year’s overseas trip which included our 830 km bike ride along the Donau (Danube) from Passau (Germany) to Budapest (Hungary), was jam-packed with action, new challenges, new friends and wonderful adventures to remember!!!!
