Anyone for an orange, Valèncian of course!

Just over halfway up the east coast of Spain is the famous city of Valencia. Let’s pop in there! It’s the 3rd largest city in Spain 🇪🇸 with a population of 840,000 .

After driving through the town of Olivia, the landscape changes with many orange groves & green rice paddies in Cullera.

Bruce delivers us safely to our Camping Coll Vert, 10km from central Valencia. It is a run down camping park, despite its grandiose entrance but a close base for visiting Valencia. The beach is nearby but not very attractive with its grey coarse sand/rocks.

Our friendly neighbours, Dave & Rachel from UK, pose for a fun pic in front of their creative motorhome mural! They have travelled extensively & are living life to the full!

In Valencia, we wander the city admiring the beautiful architecture.

Our wonderful friends, Edith & Martin whom we met 7 yrs ago cycling along the Danube River, live in Baden Baden. We have visited them there & it is such a beautiful city. This pic is especially for them …….

Mark is googling away on his phone & has found somewhere l might like to visit ……..the beautiful Beverly (however, without an e) cafe! Probably the only Beverly cafe in the world !?

The special of the day was the amazingly, delicious pink torte! It was truly “melt in your mouth”….. and I don’t usually eat cake 🍰 ! Sorry, l  excitedly took lots of pics ……

In Lefties department store we were intrigued to see this large slide that takes the kids down a level & then they return via the escalators! Even an electronic sign telling the kids when it’s ok to slide down !

Mark points to the electrical wiring in amusement! Actually, this wasn’t the worst we’ve seen either.

Whilst in Valencia we had to try the traditional black paella! Yes, it may look like bitumen or tar but has a delicious seafood flavour! If you closed your eyes you wouldn’t know….
