What can I say?! Bev takes her bag . . . uette everywhere!!
Meanwhile, it seems Mark has a fixation for all French 2CV’s!!
Heading North towards Dinard (not to be confused with Dinan) – our next stop! We notice huge tidal differences as hundreds of boats are left high and dry every 6 hours!
Having been on the road, with fourteen one night stops, Bruce digs his heels in and demands a rest! No arguments from us! We rest in a wonderful Camping (caravan park) Le Port Blanc in Dinard – right on the beach – and stay four nights! Its great to grab our outdoor chairs and table and rest on the grassy pitch. C’est La Vie!
The park is fantastic complete with a cafe/bar with deck chairs to enjoy the sunset and even an exercise gym – overlooking the beach. To celebrate the first day of summer there was a free live jazz concert in Le Dome and a DJ in yellow caravan entertained us Sunday afternoon.
Dinard is popular for its sandy beaches and dramatic coastal walks below fabulous villas.
And look who we bumped into on our coastal walk – our Camping Car neighbours – Mark and Debbie, from UK!
There are enormous sea pools just waiting for the summer crowds.
Mark points towards Saint Malo – a ten minute ferry crossing.
Bev catches some of the first sunset of summer to send your way!!
What a biggie! Did she nibble it on the way home? Lovely pix.
Great guys. So happy for you both but totally jealous seeing the cute villages non commercial style living there. Looks lovely. Yet to get hot?!
I love those french baguettes!! Have fun x
Just beautiful! Love following your travels!
We nearly made it to St Malo…..had a travel hiccup along the way…..we’ll just have to try again!
Are you dancing in the rain? and fresh bread, enjoy xx
