Back on the ship, we take time to lounge around and savour the final moments of our stunning surrounds before we traverse the North Sea, to end our cruise in Amsterdam!
Our Norway fjord cruise has definitely been a wonderful, memorable experience.
Our cruise director, Nick, was exceptional and responsible for the smooth running of all the activities on board. His charismatic, fun personality, created a wonderful atmosphere on the ship. . . . a city on the sea….
The evening entertainment on the “world stage” was excellent, including professional dance performers, comedians & an amazing juggler.
There were watercolour painting classes on board, so I bravely joined the group. As l have no painting experience, I wasn’t sure what to expect at all……this is my masterpiece!!?
The subject matter was chosen for us and I realise you’re probably all scratching your heads wondering, “what on earth has Bev created!”? Hint- the visual effect improves significantly if you remove your glasses or even consume a few bottles of 🍷 wine!?
Ok, it’s my version of the Northern Lights, which l might add, l have never seen !
There was a rumour on board that someone had seen the northern lights the previous evening. Mark stayed up on deck alone until 1:30am to catch a glimpse but to no avail ! So he will have to make do with my interpretative version!?
Some beautiful, creative art adorns the corridors of the ship!!
We would definitely recommend this Holland America, seven-night cruise, for those who would like a glimpse of Norway and the beautiful fjords, particularly in Skjolden.
The final evening of our cruise we all crowded into the “world stage theatre “and it was a fun thank you for all the staff and crew — and also for us — for sailing on the MS Rotterdam ship⛵️!!!
Looks like you had a wonderful time on the cruise.
